About the Space The venue occupies the oldest part of the building at Hospitalfield, with elements of the stonework dating back to the first buildings on site from the C14. The room as it now stands was first used as a granary, and later as a painting studio during the early years of the Trust. The new Entrance Foyer encloses the old entrance to the Coach House, and fronts out to a secluded courtyard underneath the C19 working clocktower. In addition to its use for Jazz at Hospitalfield, the space has been successfully hosted Folk concerts, public lectures, as well as functions including lunches, dinners, wedding receptions and ceilidhs. Facilities Available The format of the main room is flexible to individual requirements.
