Hospitalfield hosts a number of event throughout the year. The house is open to the public during the annual Doors Open Day weekend, normally held in early September, and last year attracting almost 500 visitors.

The Jazz at Hospitalfield sessions provide a year-round programme of live music in the newly refurbished venue space.

Residents also contribute to the public programme through exhibitions, open studios, temporary installations and presentations.

Other recent events have included folk concerts, lectures, ceilidhs, garden parties, lunches, dinners and weddings. The atmosphere and character of the building provide a unique backdrop for every kind of event.
