Friends of Hospitalfield
Hospitalfield may be a hidden jewel, but we know that when people discover it, they are enchanted. Most assume it is publicly funded.
It isn’t. In order to survive, Hospitalfield has to earn its own money through activities including artists’ residencies and workshops, and by hosting corporate and private events such as board meetings and weddings.
Now, as part of an exciting new initiative to reposition Hospitalfield as a centre of arts and culture we want to give people who value its history and want to help secure its future, the chance to support it by becoming a Friend.
For individuals, the annual membership is £25, for couples it's only £40. Corporate membership is £250 a year.
Corporate members can hire rooms for board or other business meetings or conferences at a discounted rate. If they are looking to impress important clients, Hospitalfield offers a quiet interlude in an otherwise busy day: a chance to draw breath, to relax, and to get to know each other in memorable surroundings.
As Hospitalfield develops its new programme of events, Friends will be able to enjoy privileged access to a range of activities including art masterclasses, musical recitals, talks on local history, “meet the author” events. And, of course, there is the well- established Jazz at Hospitalfield where prominent musicians from around the world play to packed houses. The Friends section on our website will keep you up to date with latest developments and the Friends also have a Facebook presence.
Our plans are ambitious, but we can’t deliver them without your support. If you are interested in joining Friends of Hospitalfield, please download and print this form and return it with your payment to us (contact details).
Alternatively you can pay online via Paypal by filling out one of our online forms below. We regret we are unable to take credit card payments.
You can also download a Friends Brochure for more information.
