Panelled in fine cedar combined with locally sourced rustic pine, and furnished with fine examples from the Hospitalfield collection, the anteroom embodies Patrick’s sense of the importance of site, function and aesthetic, providing a prototype for the Scottish Arts and Crafts Movement which followed. It is the link between the oldest part of the house and the Gallery and is ideal for small board meetings.
