Revealing the secrets of life art

Accomplished life artist Rebecca Westguard will reveal the secret techniques of this enduring art form at this Friday’s (20th August) Talk and Tapas evening at 7.30pm at Hospitalfield, Arbroath. Rebecca has been tutoring a residential masterclass at the Angus residential art centre all this week, helping 22 artists develop their work in this demanding genre with a series of live nude models. Rebecca will use some of the students’ work to illustrate her presentation which will include a tour of the  studio originally used by Patrick Allan-Fraser, founder of the Hospitalfield Trust for the visual arts. Tickets are £10 including wine and tapas and can be bought at the door. The event is the latest in Hospitalfield’s new Talk and Tapas series.
