About Hospitalfield

Hospitalfield House is a Grade A listed country house set in tranquil gardens on the edge of Arbroath, Angus. The house itself is an outstanding example of 19th century architecture and a prototype for the Scottish Arts & Crafts movement. Hospitalfield is held in trust - by the Patrick Allan-Fraser of Hospitalfield Trust – as a residential centre for professional education in the arts. The Trust revised its membership in 2010, repositioning itself to operate effectively in the cultural landscape of the 21st century and revitalising its sense of purpose. The core mission has been re-emphasised and enhanced to encourage accessibility, positioning Hospitalfield as a centre of art and culture for Angus and beyond.

About HospitalfieldHospitalfield has developed an international reputation for its art residencies, masterclasses, workshops and study groups. It has acquired a devoted following for its first class jazz programme and is developing an exciting programme of events ranging across the arts including literature, music and history. The house and gardens are also available as a venue for weddings, conferences, dinners and events.
